3 Nominees Who Could Emerge As Minister of Justice

1. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN

It has been reported in some quarters that President Buhari is impressed in what the former governor of Lagos state has achieved.  The former governor is being tipped for the office of Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.

Fashola who was governor of Lagos state from 2007 to 2015, was appointed by President Buhari as head of his campaign finance.
Despite the opposition to his nomination is some quarters, Fashola remains the one of the shining light of Nigeria’s fledgling democracy.
2. Abubakar Malami, SAN
Abubakar Malami
Malami has also been tipped to emerge as the next attorney general of the federation. He has been a very close associate of President Buhari since his their days at the Congress For Progressives Change. He is said to be a very brilliant lawyer who has the ears of the president.
3. James Ocholi, SAN
James Ocholi
The nomination of James Ocholi (SAN) has been described as a blessing to the nation. He was Kogi state’s coordinator of President Buhari’s campaign and a former gubernatorial candidate.
Ocholi who has seen as one with a competent personality, is expected to bring his brilliance and integrity to bear on the new administration.
The former gubernatorial candidate has justified his competence in his chosen profession as one of the front line legal practitioners in the country today. He fits into the anti-corruption criteria of the present Federal Government.
